Our investments are focused on three objectives:

At Climate Investments, we invest in breakthrough technologies that will capture this carbon dioxide and recycle it into products or store it safely. This cycle is called Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) and creates a circular economy for the carbon dioxide. We also invest in projects that demonstrate the commerciality and scalability of the CCUS value chain.

SeekOps develops and fields advanced sensor technology for the energy sector to detect, localize, and quantify natural gas emissions through integrated drone-based systems.

Solidia has developed patented systems for producing lower-emissions cement and concrete cured with carbon dioxide rather than water

Wabash Valley Resources

As CEO of OGCI Climate Investments, Dr. Pratima Rangarajan is responsible for the delivery of the OGCI Climate Investments mission – creating positive outcomes in the reduction of climate change. Before joining OGCI Climate Investments, Pratima was the General Manager for GE's Onshore Wind Product Line and the General Manager for GE's Energy Storage startup. She had previously held the role of Deputy Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President, Emerging Technology and Research at Vestas Wind Systems. Pratima has a PhD in chemical engineering from Princeton University and a BS in chemical engineering from MIT.

As Operations Director of OGCI Climate Investments, Roger Humphreville is responsible for ensuring all partnerships are backed up with the insight and process needed to make their goals a reality. Prior to joining Climate Investments, Roger worked globally with Amoco and then BP in a variety of technical and management positions in exploration and production, commercial and technology teams. These included Head of the Chief Scientist’s Office, Director of Upstream Technology Integration, Senior Director of Government Affairs and VP, Exploration. Roger holds an M.B.A. and M.Sc. in Geology, and is a Certified Petroleum Geologist.

As Ventures Director of OGCI Climate Investments, Rhea Hamilton is responsible for economically viable investments in innovative companies and technologies. Previously, Rhea was a Managing Director for a European family office heading direct investments in clean technology and renewable energy. Prior to this, she was an Investment Director at RobecoSAM Private Equity. Rhea started her career with Royal Dutch Shell, where she held various positions including CFO of Shell Hydrogen. Rhea holds a Geological Engineering degree from the University of British Columbia, and an MBA from IESE in Barcelona, Spain.

As our Technology Director, Dr. Ganesh Kailasam plays a key role in identifying and evaluating innovative, low-emissions technologies. Ganesh has had a distinguished career specialising in polymers, and was previously Senior Vice President & Chief Technology Officer of Dow Corning Corporation, leading the company’s science and technology professionals in the area of Silicones R&D. Ganesh holds a doctorate in Chemical Engineering and was elected a member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering for his work on the development and commercialisation of processes for the production of high performance polymers.

Susan Kish is the Vice President for Strategic Marketing and Communications. She leads the team for developing platforms for engagement with stakeholders across OGCI and OGCI Climate Investments. A seasoned entrepreneur, Susan has been successful in working across stakeholders to bring new ideas to life across industries. Prior to OGCI, working with IHS Markit, Susan launched and built the Innovation Agora at CERAWeek. At Bloomberg LP, Susan focussed on strategy and innovation at New Energy Finance, where she started the Bloomberg Future of Energy Summit. Susan is a trustee and independent director on several boards and a Connection Science Fellow at MIT.

Prior to joining OGCI Climate Investments Iain worked in private practice as a commercial lawyer. Iain worked with Freshfields in London and Moscow on banking transactions and with BG in Kazakhstan before founding, and leading for over twenty years, a successful boutique energy law firm specialising in investor-state transactions and the resolution of disputes in the upstream oil and gas sector. Iain has been practising law since 1990 and holds an MA in Jurisprudence from Oxford University and a Masters in European Law from the London School of Economics.

Andrew Row is the Finance Director for OGCI Climate Investments. Prior to being seconded to Climate Investments, Andrew worked for BP as the Global Performance Director for the Lubricants business and has previously been the Finance Director for operating units in Europe & Africa and the Industrial, Marine and Energy businesses. Andrew has over 30 years’ experience in a wide range of roles, from external audit with EY, through operational, commercial and group finance roles with Burmah Castrol plc and BP. He is a First Class honours graduate from University of East Anglia and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
