Reduce methane emissions

Methane is a potent greenhouse gas with an impact 28x that of carbon dioxide over a 100 year period (IPCC AR5), but it also has a much shorter lifetime in the atmosphere – at around a decade, compared to hundreds of years for carbon dioxide. Reducing new methane emissions will result in rapid improvements in the pace of warming.
